Starting Point: The trek usually begins in either Haridwar or Rishikesh, two well-connected cities in Uttarakhand.

Reach Gaurikund: Travelers commonly take a bus or taxi from Haridwar or Rishikesh to Gaurikund. It serves as the base camp for the Kedarnath Yatra.

Trek to Kedarnath: Pilgrims must trek for about 16 kilometers from Gaurikund to Kedarnath. The trekking trail takes you through gorgeous valleys, peaceful views

Arrival at Kedarnath Temple:  After finishing the walk, travelers arrive at the Kedarnath Temple, which stands at an elevation of approximately 3,583 meters (11,755 feet) above sea level.

Return Journey:  Pilgrims return to Gaurikund over the same route after seeking blessings at the shrine and enjoying the calm atmosphere.

End Point:  The trek normally ends in Haridwar or Rishikesh, from which tourists can continue on to their next destination.
