It was built by the British in the shape of a horse shoe. where history meets the modernity in the heartbeat of Delhi It’s Georgian style architecture adds a star to its beauty. It is recognized for its circular layout, colonial architecture, and lively atmosphere. Visitors can explore a variety of stores, restaurants, cafes, and market places, which sell anything from high-end luxurious to street food delights. shopkeepers here offer every kind of services either you are going here for shopping or you want to vibe in a cafe with your friends or family.
Connaught place nearest metro is Rajiv chowk. The upper one is for blue lane and the lower one is yellow lane.

Jantar mantar is one of the most unique places that I have ever seen. Earlier, this observatory was used to know the time with the use of sun rays. The observatory is used for knowing the star positions, predicting the eclipse, and figuring out the time with the use of sun rays. The observatory tells us how smart and intelligent our ancestors really were. The place is recognized as a UNESCO World heritage site that is why it attracts many tourists.
2. Visit the amazing Museum of illusion
Museum of illusion at Rajiv chowk, Connaught place is a very interesting yet fells like a museum filled with a lot of magical stuff. It is filled with a lot of majestic things that ultimately cherish your mood. One of the best illusion in the museum is the tall and short illusion in which one person became extremely taller and the other became extremely shorter. It is the best illusion that i had ever seen. you can share the amazed pictures that you click in the museum with your friends.
I would say this museum almost changed the people’s perception towards museum. The staff of the museum is also very good and cooperative they will tell you all the details about museum if necessary. I would say it is extremely worth it to visit the museum. Nearest metro station to the Museum of illusion is Rajiv Chowk metro station.

Visiting Gurudwara Bangla Sahib is a privilege. It is one of my favorite places to visit near Connaught place. I never miss a chance to visit the Gurudwara Bangla Sahib. The atmosphere of the gurudwara is spiritual and calm, it is one of the most prominent Sikh gurudwara in Delhi. The pond in the Gurudwara is one of the most beautiful thing you could ever experience. You should definitely visit this place once in your lifetime.
The Gurudwara serves free food also called Langar to each and every people who visits there. The people who serves food there don’t let you go until your stomach gets full. This is the best thing about the Sikh community that they treat there fellow people with respect and goodness.
4. Explore and shop at Janpath Market
Visiting Connaught place is incomplete without going to the Janpath market is few miles way from the main CP you can walk or take a rickshaw to reach there. Coming back to the Janpath market if you loves to do shopping you’ll absolutely fall in love with the Janpath market. You’ll find some amazing collection of clothes over there and don’t forget to bargain from the shopkeepers.
5. Explore the iconic central park
The iconic central park of the Connaught place is so beautiful and amazing. You can relax and sit here and have a good conversation with your friends or family. Sometimes various performances and interesting activities also happen in the park. Construction of this park is also seamlessly beautiful you’ll find various walking vendors selling tasty snacks.

Prachin Hanuman Mandir located in Connaught place is a Hindu temple devoted to Lord Hanuman. It is a great spiritual temple to visit in CP. The atmosphere of the Hanuman temple is spiritual and cam. Before entering in the temple make sure you remove your shoes and follow temple’s etiquette which will show respect and dignity to Lord Hanuman. One of my favorite cafes of CP is OMG cafe the atmosphere of the cafe is so good, a live singer will sing in front of you and the food of the cafe was also too good. Definitely this cafe should be taken to your cafe’s priority.
