I considered Sundar nursery to be a hidden gem of Delhi because it is one of the beautiful places in Delhi that some people don’t know much about it. It is a very big garden in Delhi with a lot of greenery in it. The garden best fit for the college going students who want a break from their regular study routine and searching for a place to do some fun with their friends.

Many people visit the nursery to sit and relax in the beautiful relaxing atmosphere of the garden. The garden is so clean and well maintained which give us a sense of taking care of our environment. Trust me i can clearly say it is one of the most iconic and beautiful garden present in Delhi. Moreover the pond area is the favorite spot of mine in the garden.

History of Sundar Nursery in a glance.

Earlier the Sundar nursey was known as the Azim Bagh. Taking about the construction of the nursery it was made a very long time ago during the 16th century by Kamran Mirza son of Babur’s. During that time it is just a garden with pathways to walk and water pathways. Later the British got their eyes on the garden and turned into a nursey to grow plants for the city. So, we can say that the park is a mixture of history and nature. Visitors specially come to learn about the past capital city of India called as Delhi.

By Personal Vehicle: If you have your personal vehicle you can reach there by using google maps.

Visit the monuments: The monuments inside the garden are extremely gorgeous they take you to the ancient Mughal time. And show how beautiful the Mughal architecture is.

Go to the children’s play area: If you are with your children’s there is a separate playing place for the children’s. The area is well equipped with slides, swings and other stuff.

Click some amazing picture of yours: You can click some amazing pictures of yours in the beautiful surroundings of the garden and store as a remember of your hangout. Make sure to get all necessary permissions from the officials.

Relax along the water area: The pond in the garden is extremely beautiful just sit along the pond and relax.

My experience visiting Sundar Nursery and some Suggestions

My experience visiting Sundar Nursery is actually good. The place offers a beautiful escape from the hectic routine of day to day life. Actually i visited the garden to give a birthday surprise to my friend. After we started celebrating her birthday suddenly a guard came to us and told us it is not allowed to use party poppers and a lot of balloons that may create garbage. We agreed with him and celebrated her birthday without balloons and party popper. Moreover it become totally worth it visiting the garden.

For the suggestion part, if you’re planning to visit the Sundar Nursery to celebrate someone’s birthday don’t bring any stuff that may create garbage at that place.
